Did I mention that we finally moved into a home? And I know that you are ALL so excited to see it! But, since most of you are far away, I thought I would give you our version of a "Home Tour".
I apologize in advance for the spacing. I didn't know how to fix it--- still learning this stuff.
Our kitchen is small, but has so much more room than the apartment kitchen did. Yes, that is more wallpaper you see. This too, will be textured over. Do you like the orange extension cord? Here is a funny story for moving day. When we finally got in the house and the seller's had moved out, I looked in the corner where they had their refrigerator (and where we were putting ours) and there was NO outlet! I think we looked for a good 5 minutes hoping that it was camoflauged by the brick--- no dice. So, when the fridge was delivered, the only extension cord that was not packed (because it was in the back of the pickup) was the orange one. It's a good thing I have a personal electrician to fix this one!

This is our "Home Teacher/Living Room" It is the first room in the house if you come through the real front door. (But we all know that back door friends are best.) Our plan is to texture the walls over the wallpaper because under the wallpaper is thin fiberboard.

Now, we have the daffodils. These were in bloom the day that we moved in and I was so excited to see flowers that will come up year after year! This is a good thing.
The front of the house. I love that it has different depths in the front. On the left of the porch, there is a "front door". It's true, it is one of those confusing houses that you never know which door to go to. I am sure that whichever door you knock on, we will answer :).
The Dining and Piano Room. This room is what makes the house work for both of us. Bryan can watch TV (in the basement) or play games or whatever while I teach piano.
So, this is the very condensed tour of our cute little house. It is only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but it is perfect for us! It needs a bit of work and has a great yard! We actually have a magnolia tree in our front yard that has tons of blossoms on it!
I hope you enjoyed the tour, now, come see it for real! It's much better in person!
